I found a simple, single-purpose program called, aptly, Image Time Stamp Modifier that syncs the file date with the EXIF data embedded in the JPG by the camera.
Google recently enabled Tasks for Google Calendars, but I couldn’t get it to show up for our Google Apps for Domains. Turns out it’s a “pre-release” feature and you need enable those for your domain. https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/<YOUR_DOMAIN>/DomainSettings
I have been using IpodMe for quick conversions (mostly for the wife’s BlackBerry), but EncodeHD looks like an interesting alternative. EncodeHD is a an application to re-encode all types of video files for use on your home media player or on-the-go device. It aims to provide a simple interface with no fuss, and give you [...]
My work email is on hosted Exchange via a GroupSpark reseller. You can tell if you are on GroupSpark if you use “ActiveSync.MyOutlookOnline.com” as your AS server. I have no idea what changed from Vista to XP, but I can no longer login using Outlook 2007. It has something to do with Active Directory, but [...]
A few tools I was using last night to get Windows 7 working: Virtual Clone Drive – double-click an ISO to automatically mount it as a drive. Double-click a different ISO and it replaces the first. Advanced Security for Outlook by MapiLabs lets you get around that. If you are in an environment where you don’t have admin rights to your PC, [...]

Up until now, every Blu-ray disc I own has had the movie contained in a single, humungous M2TS file (usually 20-25GB). Today I encountered a disc that has a bunch of smaller M2TS files. This is, apparently, called a “seamless branching” Blu-Ray disc. In order to play it back from the hard drive via the [...]
